Summer Leadership Impact Program
Are you a current or past Prophet or Peer Leader who wants to stay involved with tSB this summer? Are you ready to participate in active, in-person activities? tSB’s Summer Leadership Impact Program (SLIP) will reintroduce the in-person activities that you know and love.
SLIP is a four-week summer program conducted from mid-July to mid-August. Youth will participate in 10-12 sessions that take a deep dive into environmental topics, including climate change, ocean pollution, and sustainable agriculture. SLIP builds on tSB’s Core Program curriculum through anti-racist theory workshops designed to develop socially and environmentally conscious leaders.
During SLIP, youth explore the outdoors through activities like skateboarding and hiking in National Parks. This year, SLIP will conclude with three days of socially-distanced skateboarding lessons with Skate Like a Girl.
