What is the M.Y. (More Youth) Voice! series?
The goal of “M.Y. Voice!” is to inform and educate youth on the current political landscape to have greater participation in elections, with this year’s focus on the Seattle mayoral race. Throughout the six weeks of sessions, you will work together to plan a youth-led candidate forum.
There are many local issues relevant to today’s youth and your voice must be present in political advocacy and community organizing. Off-year elections have historically low voter participation and we are committed to helping youth understand how they can take action and create change.
