Nathalie (she/her) joined tSB in October 2022 as an intern for her first-year practicum for her Master of Social Work program at the University of Washington. Due to her passion for and dedication to the tSB mission, she has decided to come back for the 2023-24 program as a curriculum advisor!
She received her B.A. in Public Health and Urban Studies in 2019 from Barnard College of Columbia University, and previously worked as a Program Specialist for Futures Without Violence. Nathalie calls Alaska home and she takes great joy in being in and among forests- though she is very much a homebody. She is a voracious reader and spends much of her time either cooking or baking.
After her MSW program, she hopes to continue to work with adolescents through school social work in predominantly Black school districts and practice utilizing therapy animals.
