Ha Thanh (Dola) Vu (she/her) is an international student from Vietnam. Dola moved to Seattle to pursue higher education and new opportunities. As a student at Seattle Central Collage, she believes communication and marketing can bring people together and help organizations better serve their communities. Dola has been actively involved in student leadership at SCC as both an Associate of Communications and a FYCS Peer Mentor. Through these roles, she has worked on projects that support student engagement while developing her skills in communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
Having benefited from supportive mentors and a welcoming community throughout her own journey, Dola hopes to pay if forward by helping create opportunities where young people feel encouraged, connected, and empowered to grow. She is excited to join the Service Board as a Summer Intern, where she hopes to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations and community engagement while supporting tSB’s mission to empower young people through meaningful programs and opportunities.
Outside of work and school, Dola enjoys watching movies, exploring restaurants, and discovering new places around Seattle with her friends.
