Core Program Support

There are many ways that you can support our Core Program. These volunteer opportunities are available from January to June. Whether it’s a one-time volunteer activity or you want to support multiple Core Program days, we look forward to you joining our community.

Evening Meal Team:
(On hold due to COVID-19)

Our success is reliant on the depth of the relationship between mentors and youth and we bond best when sharing a meal on a program or snowboarding day. This volunteer role prepares food for approximately 50-60 people. You can donate the food or we can provide a food budget.

On-Call Mountain Support:

The on-call volunteer position supports tSB on-mountain emergency situations that require a tSB participant to leave Program events to seek medical attention. Responsibilities include driving to the mountain in their own vehicle, assisting with accident documentation, and driving participants or following emergency vehicles during an emergency trip.

Photographer:
A picture is worth a thousand words. We seek photographers for our programs year-round. We would love to become a part of your portfolio! Capture critical moments at events, such as snowboarding days, service projects, and graduation

COVID Safety

the Service Board (tSB) is constantly monitoring the developments of the COVID-19 pandemic closely. tSB’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and programming are subject to change as public health recommendations change. tSB will follow CDC guidelines and Washington State’s Safe Start Plan for COVID-19

All participants, volunteers, and staff must always wear masks when participating during in-person tSB activity. (Participants will be provided with a mask and hand sanitizer if needed). tSB will have a check-in procedure checklist for each in-person outdoor trip and activity.
