the Service Board has many committees that you can get involved with. Each committee is made up of staff, community members, and board members. Whether it be planning an event or supporting our strategic goals, all committees play a critical role in running the organization. Our current committees include:

Soiree Committee

• Commitment: Meets once a month from May to October, plus one hour of tasks in between meetings
• Description:
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of tSB’s largest fundraiser of the year in October
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings, contribute to discussion, and share ideas
  • Assist with procurement of auction items and catering supplies, engage with sponsors and vendors, support with social media and other tasks as needed

Spring Event Committee (previously Retro Fools Committee)

• Commitment: Meets every week from January – April, plus 3 hours of tasks in between meetings
• Description:
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of tSB’s on-mountain fundraiser (April)
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings, contribute to discussion, and share ideas
  • Assist with logistics, engage with sponsors, support social media, and coordinate with corporate partners

Communications Committee

• Commitment: Meets once a month, plus 2 hours of tasks in between meetings
• Description:
  • Support the committee in reaching social media and communications goals
  • Provide photography and/or stay up to date on social media and marketing trends
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings, contribute to discussion, and share ideas
