tSB Summer Snowboarding Camp Scholarship

The application for the Summer Snowboarding Camp 2021 is closed! We will announce the scholarship recipients in June.

Are you a team player who focuses on supporting others? Do you want to continue to improve your snowboarding skills this summer? tSB is looking for two (2) tSB ambassadors to attend a week-long High Cascade Snowboarding Camp with the CAPiTA team this summer.

The week-long summer camp will bring youth from across the country together to improve their skill set with the help of professional snowboarding coaches. Participants will also get to participate in outdoor activities, such as skateboarding, paintball, mountain biking, and river rafting. Youth who are interested in becoming well-rounded in a variety of outdoor sports are encouraged to apply.

Participants will not be turned away due to lack of funds; gear, transportation, and lodging will be provided.

Camp dates:
July 11th-17th, 2021

Where:
High Cascade Snowboarding Camp in Sandy, Oregon

Eligibility requirements:
● 2021 Peer Leaders, Prophets, Winterns or recent tSB alums who have continued their involvement with tSB and is 14-19 years of age
● Must attend the full week of camp during July 11th-17th
● If selected, commit to writing a 500 word blog post about your experience as a tSB ambassador at High Cascade Camp
● Cannot be accepted to both SLIP and High Cascade Camp (while you can apply to both, you can only be selected for one)

Considerations:
COVID Safety: A COVID test is required in order to participate in the camp.
Camp Demographics: BIPoC youth are historically underrepresented in outdoor camps. In order for youth to feel supported during the camp, two tSB youth will be chosen to be tSB ambassadors at High Cascade Camp
