Iman (she/her) joined tSB in October 2023 as an intern for her first-year practicum for her Master of Social Work program at the University of Washington. She was born and raised in Gaza, Palestine, but completed most of her education in the United States as an International student. In 2015, she received a BA in Biology and English Literary Studies from Columbia College, SC, and in 2020, she received an MA in Women’s and Gender Studies from Eastern Michigan University.
Iman is one of the founders of the Leonard Education Organization (L.E.O), an NGO that focuses on making higher educational opportunities accessible to Palestinian youth around the world. Passionate about social justice and education, she continues to volunteer as the Director of Student Affairs and as a member of the Board of Directors at L.E.O.
In her free time, Iman enjoys cooking, reading, drawing and creating are, and learning new things.
