Beca (she/her) is an Indigenous, Hñahñu, woman from Mexico, she immigrated to the United States in 2013 and moved permanently to Seattle in 2017. She joined tSB as the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator in October of 2023.
Beca has worked as an educator for about 11 years and has volunteered at different youth lead organizations in the Seattle area. Beca spends a lot of her free time volunteering at BIPOC outdoor led organization that ensures BIPOC folkshave welcoming and joyful experiences outdoors.
Beca grounds herself by spending time with nature and the land. She is a long distance runner, an avid biker, rock climber, and is learning how to swim. Beca loves spending time with her community outdoors and is constantly working on becoming a better relative to the land and the people.
