Tran (they/them) joined tSB in October 2024 as an MSW intern for their first-year practicum with UW. They formerly worked as a software engineer, organized at an LGBTQ+ Vietnamese grassroots, and volunteered for a survivors of violence non-profit.
Tran loves learning new perspectives and ways about going about the world. After their MSW program, they hope to use their clinical skills and apply them to emergent and existing communities that they will be a part of. They are excited to learn about how existing systems in the United States came to be and how we can world towards a better world.
They love to organize gatherings, go on quiet walks with friends, and partner dance. Outside of school, you can find them running around with their dog or sitting by the water.
