The Service Board needs you!
Seattle is a dynamic city with numerous resources for young people. But many kids have no positive role models—they can’t name a single person who wants them to learn more, to like being who they are, and to learn about what really counts. Without that one person (or 35 people in the case of TSB!) young people can too often slip through the cracks. TSB turns kids on to their own abilities, teaches them to try crazy new things (making sandwiches for the homeless, riding a chair lift), and instills in them the love and understanding of 30 other people, experiencing common joys, jokes, and sadness. We connect kids to what counts in themselves and others. They leave tSB’s six-month program fired up to make a positive impact in their community.
