Volunteer with tSB!

tSB would not exist without support from our community. It is important to us that as we ask our youth to commit to service and building community, that adults are modeling this commitment.

General Volunteer Opportunties

  • Wednesday Evening Meal Team:  Our success is reliant on the depth of the relationship between mentors and youth and we bond best when sharing a meal on a program day. This volunteer role prepares the food for program (approximately 50-60 people). You can donate the food or we can provide you with the food budget. (January–June)
  • Service Project Partner:  Join for a service project(s), which is an awesome way to interact with youth and our community! (January-August)
  • Snowboard Instructor:  Are you (at least) an intermediate rider who is comfortable teaching youth and adults? We provide mandatory on and off-mountain training in December each year for new instructors. (Applications are now closed for the 2019 season)
  • On-Call Mountain Support:  This role involves providing support in case of an on-mountain emergency during snowboarding program days. Volunteer for the morning or afternoon shift and get a free lift ticket to ride the rest of the day! Must provide own transportation to Snoqualmie or Stevens. (end of January-May)
  • Photographer:  A picture is worth a thousand words. We seek photographers for our programs year-round. We would love to see and become a part of your portfolio!
  • Administrative:  We always have a need for people to support us in the office. If you know your way around Microsoft Office, Bloomerang or like getting dirty while hand-making thank-you cards, this may be the volunteer opportunity for you!
  • Events: We have a few big events each year and need support with registration, serving food, set-up/clean-up and running auctions. If you have a passion for events, this is a job for you (and a great way to be introduced to our community).
  • Special Projects: Do you have a really specific set of skills that you want to bring to a small organization? We are always in need of really smart, skilled people.
